1. Ground and center yourself with deep breathing 2. Hold your primary magical tool (wand, athame, or use your hands) 3. Stand in the center of where you want to create the space 4. Close your eyes and feel your energy extending from your solar plexus 5. Trace a circle around you with your tool/hand while visualizing: - A line of brilliant white light following your gesture - The line forming a complete circle - The circle expanding into a sphere above and below 6. As you trace, silently or aloud intone: "By my will and magic true Sacred space I form anew Between the worlds this circle stands Protection wrought by my own hands" 7. Face each direction and project a beam of light to anchor the boundary: - East (yellow light) - mental clarity - South (red light) - passionate power - West (blue light) - emotional wisdom - North (green light) - physical grounding 8. Pull energy up from the earth through your feet 9. Pull energy down from the cosmos through your crown 10. Let both energies meet at your heart and expand outward to fill the sphere 11. Your sacred space is now created 12. Perform your work within this portable temple 13. To close: visualize the sphere dissolving back into your heart center 14. Ground excess energy into the earth
