Threshold Guardian Ward

1. Choose the main doorway to your home or sacred space 2. Physically clean the door, frame, and threshold 3. Create a protection powder blend: - Black salt (mix sea salt with charcoal or ash) - Dried protective herbs (rosemary, basil, rue) - Red brick dust or cayenne pepper - Crushed iron nails or iron filings 4. Cleanse the doorway with sage smoke 5. Carve or draw protective symbols on the door frame: - Pentacle - Algiz rune (ᛉ) - Eye of Horus - Cross or other protective symbol 6. Take the protection powder and trace a line across the threshold while saying: "Guardian of the threshold, I call you near Protect this space from all who bring fear Let only love and good intentions pass Turn away all harm, this ward will last" 7. Anoint the top of the door frame with protection oil 8. Place or bury protective items near the door: - Iron nails - Black tourmaline - Protective herb sachet 9. Hang a protective charm above the door (horseshoe, witch's ladder, protective talisman) 10. Visualize a powerful guardian spirit or fierce dragon/lion standing watch 11. Seal the ward by tracing a pentacle in the air before the door 12. Say: "This threshold is guarded and warded Only those with pure intent may enter So mote it be"
