Chalice

Purpose

Sacred cup representing the element of water and the divine feminine. Used for ritual drinks, libations, scrying, and representing the womb of the Goddess.

Description

Cup or goblet made of silver, copper, brass, glass, crystal, or ceramic. May be simple or ornately decorated with symbols, gemstones, or engraving. Size varies from small ritual cups to larger ceremonial chalices.

Usage Notes

Consecrate with blessed water or moon water. Use for ritual beverages (wine, mead, juice, water), offerings, water scrying, and symbolic rituals like the Great Rite. Cleanse between uses. Some practitioners keep a dedicated chalice only for ritual use.
