Scrying Mirror

Purpose

Used for divination, spirit communication, meditation, and accessing the subconscious or astral realms.

Description

Black mirror (concave or flat) traditionally made by painting the back of glass black, or using obsidian. May be round, oval, or rectangular. Frame can be simple or ornate.

Usage Notes

Gaze softly into the dark surface in dim candlelight. Let your vision blur and images form. Use for seeing past/future, contacting spirits, or deep meditation. Cleanse before and after use. Store covered when not in use. Some practitioners keep their mirror veiled.
